This mug cup was born from a new endeavor, produced in collaboration with mold makers, Tsuchiya, pottery makers, and others involved in pottery in Mino.
Aoki shares its unique glaze and clay know-how with trusted factories,
By directing the materials,
We were able to breathe warmth and life into the product.
It is our hope that this project will be a small catalyst to revitalize the Mino production area.

*Please note that there may be slight differences in size from the displayed size. *Due to the characteristics of pottery, there may be significant individual differences depending on the degree of glaze application and the position of the kiln.

■With use, oil and other substances may seep in, or vinegar or alcohol may react and cause discoloration.
Of course, you can enjoy the unique character of the piece and its changes over time, but if this bothers you, try soaking a paper towel in oil (olive oil, salad oil, etc.) and applying it to the entire surface before using it for the first time. After that, wash it with dish soap and use it as usual. The oil will act as a coating.
